Magento Developer -North West - £250 - £350 per day(Magento, PHP, MySQL)
My client based in the North West and is one of the largest mobile phone distributors in the world. They work alongside leading handset manufacturers, adding value to the mobile supply chain by offering a wide range of industry-leading services.
The company is currently enjoying a very successful period and as a result needs some additional development resource on the Magento platform. They have a project for an end client; which is under NDA but is for a large supermarket retailer. You will be required to add additional functionalities, changes and requirements to their existing site, and will be working alongside my clients' in-house Magento team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large and well known end client within the retail industry.
Key Skills:
- Advanced knowledge and commercial use of object orientated approaches/methods and the use of recognisable GOF patterns.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of implementing and extending Magento web shops in a manner that utilises OO and upholds the modular values of Magento.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of extending the PIM, CMS, Order Management Modules along with the core API of Magento to meet various bespoke requirements.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of creating new UI modules that extend/compliment the core capabilities of Magento.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of Web Services (SOAP mandatory, Restful optional).
Contract Location: North West
Contract Length: 3 Months
Contract Rate: £250 - £350 per day
