Description
The systems administrator will be involved in the daily support of all application Servers, as well as the required activities for successful infrastructure service delivery. Provide technical support for local and regional system administration issues including the day-to-day systems administration, installation & upgrades configuration, testing, documentation, and ongoing systems management.
Demonstrated experience working with the following:
Windows 2003/8, Active Directory, Exchange, Security & Anti Virus, backup and recovery systems and Cisco networking.
Requirements:
Monitor all Servers to ensure stability of Servers and maintain server availability
Management of Exchange
Knowledge of SAN and storage management including disk space utilisation, enterprise backup products, etc.
Strong technical ability to find innovative solutions to engineering tasks
Experience Required:
Applicants should have at least 5+ years experience of administration in production support & high availability environments
Have excellent MS Windows server and Exchange skills, Active Directory,
Ability to provide high level technical expertise to the infrastructure teams
Essential:
3rd Level qualification
Microsoft Certification
Microsoft Exchange experience
Cisco CCNA certification
Strong ability to take on responsibility for deliverables, ensuring successful and on-time completion.
Strong communication skills both written & verbal
Proven track record in service delivery excellence
