Senior .NET Web Developer profile
Location: Venlo
duration: 3 months
Our clients IT department is requested to build a first version of an Online Product Configurator. The application has exposure within the whole company group, a tight delivery schedule and will utilize state of the art technologies to reach a platform independent approach. In detail the application should utilize HTML5 and the GUI should also be usable on tablets (more in detail Apple iPads).
In order to scale capacity of the current technical team we are looking for a
Senior .NET Web developer
Who can join onsite in Venlo the technical team during development of the initial version of this application. From June 24st 2013 to September 27st 2013 the candidate must work on location in Venlo in order to support interaction between both team members and customer. The candidate should not have (Summer) holidays planned in the requested period due to the strict deadlines!
What we expect from a candidate
As one of the members of the development team you have the responsibility for designing and developing the web application for our client. In concrete terms, this means that you are concerned with designing and developing the architecture and web application.
Your goal must be to bring superb technical skills and an enthusiastic mindset about development in ASP.NET MVC and HTML5 to the team. In addition you must be able to read, interpret and challenge the requirements as provided by the customer.
With strict deadlines we are looking for an experienced application engineer with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of working experience in projects with tight deadlines and technologies in use as stated below. You are capable of managing work packages from design to implementation.
Candidates must meet following essential requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent foundation
At least 5 years of working experience in software design and web development
At least 4 years of experience of developing web applications in .NET
At least 4 years of experience of developing web applications with CSS and JavaScript (not just JQuery)
Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC 4.0, Microsoft .NET 4.5 C# development
Strong experience with HTML5
Strong experience with JQuery 1.9+
Strong experience with CSS3
Experience with Kendo UI or equivalent frameworks
Experience with Tableless design and W3C compliant/Brower independent development
Experience with Visual Studio 2012 and Team Foundation Server 2012
Read and speak English
Candidates with in addition following skills are preferred:
Microsoft or related Certifications
Experience with Mobile web application development
Experience with SQL 2012 T-SQL, database design
Experience with Windows server 2012 (w.r.t. web applications)
