Description
Communications Consultant with experience of managing PR campaigns required for 6 month initial contract with public sector organisation in Edinburgh.
Duties will include:
- Work with Campaign Managers to manage and evaluate consumer facing social media activity
- Support on campaign media launches and provide on-going consultancy on PR campaign management
- Work with agencies to evaluate PR campaign activity
- Work with relevant news desks for consistency of messaging when dealing with relevant reactive press queries
- Draft correspondence responses
- Manage and activate sponsorships around major events
- Management of a programme of international media visits
- Work with the Web Editor to source and write features for 3 multi-lingual websites
Experience required:
- Experience managing PR campaigns
- Experience developing robust evaluations for campaign measurement
- In-depth understanding of social media strategy and evaluation
This is an urgent role to start mid-July.
Candidates will be required to either currently hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
