Role Overview
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst to join our client in their Malta office. The role will be responsible for data analytics and support macro requirements.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this entry level position requires a highly professional and organised individual that will mainly be responsible for:
· Maintaining and improving current reporting structure
· Creating new reports either on ad hoc or regular basis
· Updating existing macro enabled files as well as creating new ones according to business requirements
· Supporting data analysis and reporting of promotions
· Assisting scheduling, forecasting and workforce management through data analysis
· Reconciliations
· Other ad hoc duties required to be undertaken by the Head of Operations
Are you an ideal candidate?
For this position they are seeking a highly-motivated team player with a proven work ethic and the following:
· Degree in Information Systems, Statistics or equivalent
· At least 2 years’ experience working as a junior analyst or support/administrative resource (essential requirement for candidates with no related qualifications)
· Exceptional excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
· Understanding of supported departments (Sports Trading and Translation)
· Ability to analyse large amounts of data quickly and accurately
· Excellent command of written and spoken English
