To be considered for this role you MUST have the following experience:

  • Managing the implementation of legislative changes
  • Dealing with compliance ie fraud, compliance, complaints, appeals, policy, Governance, Audit, Legislation, Compliancy etc
  • Ensuring Programmes/Schemes are compliant with Industry legislation, The legislation that you will be involved in based around Renewables. Experience or understanding of any of the following would be beneficial: RHI, Renewable Heat Incentive, Renewables Obligation, RO (this replaced the Non-Fossil Fuel Obligation) Renewables Obligation Certificates, ROCs. Renewable Portfolio Standard, RPS, Warm Home Discount, WHD.
  • Significant successful leadership in an Operational Service Delivery background
  • Strong track record of delivery against operational targets and meeting challenging deadlines
  • Expertise in implementing and interpreting legislation
  • Excellent stakeholder management at all levels
  • Advising on the administrative implications of industry policy proposals
  • Significant evidence of strong leadership and direct staff management, external contractor management and service provider management
  • Conflict resolution in projects and in teams of staff
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in relation to risk management
  • Financial management Proven ability to make decisions with significant financial implications
  • Dealing with Government bodies, Trade associations, industry participants, DNOs, etc
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification

You will lead a Compliance Team. They are responsible for checking compliance of the scheme, running an audit programme and assuring that the scheme is robust against external or internal fraud. They also deal with complaints and disputes making sure they are appropriately handled. The Senior Compliance Manager will lead this team and ensure the work is delivered accurately and to performance targets.

You Must be:

  • A strong leader!
  • Able to gain a sound understanding of Renewable Energy Policy and future policy objectives so you can hit the ground running!
