Social Media Manager - Maidenhead

Working for a leading organisation based in Maidenhead, as Social Media Manager you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a social strategy with the objective of providing the best experience across relevant social media platforms.

As well as supporting and inspiring the social team and agencies working on our existing social media platforms and articulating the strategy and objectives for all the social media platforms we support, they are also responsible for identifying opportunities to grow our social footprint and agreeing hand-off points with other functions eg Retail, Customer Services.

THE ROLE:-

Manage a team of two social media specialists.
Manage the overall social media budget including agency retainers.
Manage the relationship with key individuals/teams within our agencies dedicated to supporting social media.
Brief and instruct those teams to support in the development of our overall social media strategy and individual social media campaigns.
Work cross functionally with key teams including customer services, online, customer communications, devices, products and services, campaigns and direct response.
Take responsibility for setting and achieving key social media targets on an annual and campaign basis.
Provide on-going advice and recommendation on the opportunities to grow our social media presence within marketing and across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Responsible for developing and driving forward the social media strategy
Articulate purpose and clear objectives for all social media platforms
Identify opportunities to grow our social footprint
Establish and agree hand-off points between social media comms team and other functions eg Retail, Customer Services
Monthly buzz report and engagement of stakeholders
Overall management of social media platforms including campaign planning and delivery
Blogger relations incl. device reviews, news generation
Monthly buzz reporting and platform/content performance
Identify and exploit social media opportunities that can help us to reach our objectives.
Campaign delivery - taking the lead when it comes to supporting and amplifying our campaign messages, and ensuring that our social activity is delivered on time, on budget and in an integrated way
Issues management - working with business owners, legal and corporate and consumer PR teams to develop a strategy when difficult issues surface.
Ensure the rest of the social team is briefed and prepared and that other stakeholders are informed where appropriate
Managing our end to end influencer strategy - who we proactively engage with, how, when and why. Manage results measurement and budget
Manage daily conversation taking place on Three's Twitter feed, Facebook page and blog
