Java Software Engineer - Web Application Developer (Contract)
My client, a globally recognised name in the web services industry, is currently seeking three Java developers for a 6 month contract role within their web application development team in their HQ in Dublin.
You will be working within a team building SOA based web solutions in a fast paced Agile development environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in software development with Object Oriented languages
Strong web application design and development experience, using HTML, XHTML, CSS, ExtJS, AJAX, JSON and JavaScript
Excellent knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks
Understanding of Back End web services, SOAP and Rest based
Preferably have experience in test or behaviour driven development
Solid relational database experience ideally with MySQL and Oracle
Demonstrated previous use of SOAP and REST
Experience of SVN, GIT for version control
Use of Maven
It is highly desirable to have a 3rd level degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related field.
