We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. Candidates should have prior experience developing advanced projects. This is a contract position to be performed on-site at our offices in San Francisco. If we all get along famously, we would consider making this a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
•Develop advanced JavaScript applications
•Create responsive HTML5 pages from design comps
•Create CSS3 layout and animations, ensuring legacy browser support
•Work with developers, designers, and project leaders to ensure code quality and design fidelity
•Optimize graphic elements, advising where CSS may be used instead
Qualifications and Skills:
•Hand code HTML/CSS/JavaScript
•Advanced JavaScript knowledge, with and without libraries
•Experience developing complex single-page JavaScript/AJAX interfaces
•Experience with JavaScript Backbone framework
•Extensive experience debugging cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues
•High Attention to detail to maintaining design integrity throughout the build process
•Experience with Responsive Design.
•Code to W3C Standards and specifications
•Proficient in version control systems such as Subversion and Git
•General proficiency in Photoshop
•Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
•Ability to clearly and professionally interact with clients
Additional Skills a plus:
•Python, Ruby, PHP, Perl, IT skills
•Experience with Django, RefineryCMS, dotCMS
•E-commerce integration experience
•Knowledge of accessibility specifications
