Description
Our direct client is in need of 2 Storage Administrators (UNIX and Windows) for 3-month contract position in Chevy Chase, MD. They have indicated that extension beyond 3 months is likely.
Environment: Hardware:
- Mostly IBM XIV, some v7000, some EMC VMAX
- SVC
- Brocade Software
- Tivoli Storage Productivity Center
- Virtual Wisdom
- Brocade Network Advisor Duties Performance problem analysis Firmware updates and other planned events Configure access gateways on enclosures and other Switches Provisioning/de-provisioning of storage Coordinating hardware replacements and physical layer fixes Disk zoning/configuration after new purchases Enhance monitoring and create alerts

SAN adminstration and architecture experience
