A leading medical device company based in Illinois has a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer. The Engineer will be involved in designing or develop new or existing company products. This is a 12 month contract that is paying $50.00-$60.00 per hour.This global medical device company is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to be involved in writing verifications and validations. The Engineer will be involved in the following activities:
- Create requirement specifications to design and develop new or redesign existing components products
- Use design control to write verifications and validations
- Create, compose and test protocols
- Use engineering design controls for project development
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in mechanical design, 2+ years in the medical device industry
- Validation Experience
- Statistical Knowledge
- Experience in taking a product from concept to production release
