Data Modeller - Data Transformation - Edinburgh
My client a Tier One Investment bank based in Edinburgh, is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a growing and exciting Data Transformation programme. This role will have an oversight of the entire businesses data quality processes therefore is a great opportunity for extensive business exposure.
It is essential that candidates have extensive Enterprise wide Data Architecture experience delivering complex architecture and designs (functional, divisional or programme).
Stakeholder management is essential for these roles; its is key that candidates have proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships ranging from Board level along to development and testing resources. The client is in the midst of a large period of growth within this area and the successful candidate will become a key part of departmental change. It is essential that candidates come from a Data Architecture background within an Investment Banking background.
Skills:
- Enterprise wide Data Architecture experience
- Datamodelling experience
- Solid Investment Banking or Asset Management background is essential
- Matrix management of internal and external resource
- Stakeholder management is essential for these roles; its is key that candidates have proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Facilitate the on-going identification and management of issues, risks and dependencies at a Project level
- Escalation point for the Project team
- Ensuring that Workstream and Programme level threats are efficiently escalated through the appropriate channels
- Accountable for the delivery of the stated Project objectives
- Resource and Budget management responsibilities for the Project
- Responsible for ensuring that weekly status reporting is provided to the Workstream
