Hot new Contract! FEA Design Engineer - Contract -SomersetHuxley Associates are urgently looking for FEA Autodesk Inventor Design Engineer to start immediately.
My client is a fantastic company to work for with a lovely working environment. The work on offer is diverse and challenging. This would really suit engineers who like to offer their own innovative ideas and get involved in the development of projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of FEA analysis in Autodesk Inventor
- Strong Mechanical Knowledge
- Excellent design skills
- Ability to perform design specifications.
- At least 3 years industry experience
Desirables:
- Background in Solidworks or Pro-Engineer
- Ability to perform hand calculations
- Knowledge pipework, pumps design
- HND or degree in engineering
Daily Duties:
- Performing FEA analysis on Auto Desk Inventor
- Working on complex frames and performing FEA analysis to hold pumps against earth quakes
- Write Design specifications
- Design work in Solidworks
- Design work will involve brackets, pipework and P"ID's
- Writing test reports
- Test development
