Electrical Controls Engineer - Permanent - HampshireI am currently working with a client who is recruiting an electrical controls engineer. The company focuses on energy saving, solutions specialist, they focus on delivering energy saving solutions to users of refrigeration equipment around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, physical installation and successful integration of the clients energy saving module in applications across theUK
- Conduct equipment installations, constructing panels, mounting enclosures, and performing electrical connections
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure correct operation
- Work on single phase, 3 phase, AC and DC electrical power systems
- Be able to travel to various parts of theUKandEuropewhen necessary
Key Skills:
- Recognised Electrical Engineering qualifications
- A strong Electrical Engineering background with operational experience of electrical machines, basic mechanical and electrical fitting, circuit / schematic diagram interpretation, and fault finding and supervisory experience
- Fully conversant with control systems for mechanical plant installations
- A Self starter with the ability to use initiative and possibly run a team
