Description
SQL Database Administrator - DBA £40 - 45K -Manchester- SQL DBASQL Database Administrator (DBA) is needed for a finance debt management firm. They are market leaders and are specialists in their market for providing debt management services.
Working closely with the developers you will ensure that the databases are optimised, secure and appropriate for the computing platform that they support. Also, you will be responsible for storage and capacity planning and performance monitoring and tuning
This role provides real scope for progression for the right person by providing world class training using tool edge technology.
SQL Database Administrator (DBA) must have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Good database design experience
- Database performance and query optimisation skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of SQL Server R2
- Extensive SQL and T-SQL skills
- The ability to use SSIS packages and SSRS
- Experience of installation and deployment of databases utilising SQL scripts.
Desirable
- Awareness of the travel and tourism industry, tourism products and tourism marketing.
