Senior Business Analyst - Life & Pensions Insurance
My Dublin based blue chip Life & Pensions Insurance client requires an experienced Business Analyst for a long term contract opportunity that has a chance of turning into a permanent role in the future. The successful candidate will join an exiting team of 3 Business Analysts and will be working on a several projects in unison including a major new product launch due to be released in Q1 of 2014.
This is an exiting time for the client as they are currently in the process of planning to bring IT skills in house rather than using 3rd party suppliers etc so it is a fast paced and quick changing environment. As well as the below listed requirements the most important requirement is for the candidate to be a team player, positive, driven and committed to the cause, again these soft skills are vital.
What is required -
- Strong Life and Pensions Knowledge (around Life & Pensions policy admin systems)
- Experience of both business and system requirements.
- Strong IT background. Experience across the SDLC, basically someone that gets IT
- Someone not afraid to challenge IT or business solutions/needs.
- Experience coordinating, facilitating and driving high level IT impact assessments on small to medium sized change initiatives.
- Experience delivering high and low level requirements gathering phase of change/project delivery.
- Experience designing and developing high-level and detailed functional and non functional system requirements
- Experience working with 3rd party suppliers would be useful (most of the development is currently outsourced)
- Someone very driven who can work on their own initiative and is hungry, they want someone who is willing to learn as well as add value to the team
- Excellent relationship management skills across all levels of stakeholder, including executives
FYI this role will be based Full time on site in Dublin.
