Long term opportunity and immediate opportunity for an Integration & Validation Engineer with customer support activities based in Nairobi (Kenya).
Tasks:
- provide support to the R&D teams by visiting customer's sites
- Interface between the client, the R&D project team and Set-top-Box integration team
- Tracking on-going problems
- Integration and validation features in Set-top-Boxes
Technical Environment:
- Environment Set-Top-Box digital transport stream (DVB and video streams).
- Using bug tracking.
- Visit the client for demos/integration testing/validation or support
Experience and Technical Knowledge Required:
- Linux (mandatory)
- DVB standards and Audio video formats + B24
- Conditional Access
- STB Software architecture modules (optional)
