Description
This opportunity is for a highly motivated CRA to join a small, diverse and multidisciplinary team developing point-of-care cell diagnostic tests. They will provide advice in quantitative/statistical and experimental design of field and clinical studies of point-of-care diagnostic devices as well as R&D projects. The CRA will guide and execute data management including database creation, data entries and database cleanups, data mining and analysis, and produce summaries and formal memoranda.Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in biostatistics, clinical research, biophysics or a related discipline
- Experienced with principles of study design, power analysis, study execution, data management, and statistical analysis and reporting
- Proven record of successful application of (bio) statistical methods in an R&D or clinical environment
- Solid command with relative database management, categorical and multivariate data analysis, and data mining
- Expertise with MS-Access, EpiInfo, Stata and R programming (or similar statistical software) is a must
- A Certificate in Clinical Trials and Design Management or similar is strongly preferred
- Willingness to support field testing activities and occasional travel (international)
- Self-starter, fast learner, detail-oriented, motivated, thoughtful, and with a strong work ethic
- Capable to work independently and collaborate well on a team, work diligently towards success of the team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are required
