My client, a top investment bank in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a junior to mid level vanilla Business Analyst to join the rates technology team. The Business Analyst must have experience in trade capture, risk management and end to end process flows.Main Function
The Team currently handles several high profile projects within Rates Technology.
The primary function of this role will be working on a decommisioning program that has a cross asset remit focusing on downstream Risk and Settlement.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be part of a New York based team and will work across the decomm projectr with responsibilities to include:
- Delivering detailed business and functional requirements aligned to the current Book of Work
- Providing end to end project plans with input from development and testing managers
- Data analysis of legacy feeds and working with Risk managers on migration plans
- Provide testing coordination across a number of areas
- Track project risks and issues providing input to solutions as required
Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 3+ years full project lifecycle experience
- 3+ years relevant work experience

- Demonstrates initiative
- Experienced in managing dependencies and deliverables across business lines
- Team-work and influencing skills
- Business analysis skill set
- Proven and solid experience in Investment Banking.

- Strong problem solving skills
