Electrical Designer/Powertrain/KERS/EV Battery
A client based in Northamptonshire is looking for an electrical design engineer with high voltage powertrain experience. This will be for an initial 3 month contract.
Role:
*This roles will need a candidate with F1 KERS or motorsport hybrid experience, or at the very least with considerable experience of working with hazardous voltages.
*The successful candidate will be working on the installation and integration of the electric side of the powertrain.
*Applicants must have a current knowledge of KERS or EV battery, motor and inverters, plus the interconnection systems between these devices.
*The applicants must have experience with working on and around hazardous voltages and understand the process and procedures for undertaking this work.
*Testing of battery cells and DC-DC converters.
