Solaris Administrator Contract

Description

A Leading provider of IT products and services for the global marketplace is currently seeking a Solaris System Administrator for a contract position based on their client site in Shannon Co. Clare. This position is initially a 6 month contract with a view to extension.

The on-site administrator will be responsible for the daily admin of the Sun/Solaris environment, fault diagnosis and resolution, maintaining both hardware and software, supporting network and Servers, among others.

Applicants should be highly experienced in Solaris 10 (ZFS and Containers), EMC software (SMC, SRDF, Replication Manager, and Control Centre). They must also be highly proficient in Symantec Netbackup and Storage foundation.
