Description
An EHS Specialist is required to join a global Pharmaceutical organisation based in Southern Ireland. This role will require the successful EHS Specialist to provide technical Environmental & Safety advice andinformation to line management in support of site wide operations.
Role Activities:
* Provide technical support and coordination in defining and implementing site S&E systems for both supply and commercialization activities.
* Manage the Industrial Hygiene monitoring programme for the site.
* Provide EHS support to the introduction of new processes to the site.
* Provide technical support and expertise to overall site safety & environmental compliance issues.
* Assist in the timely response to GSE on appropriate audit recommendations or other requests.
* Works with the appropriate site management in providing up-to-date information for compliance with current safety requirements both Corporate and Statutory.
* Assists in completion of periodic Self Assessments and aspects of the EHS Management Systems.
* Develop, support and delivery of EHS training programs as deemed necessary.
Skills and Experience Required:
* EHS related Qualification or similar
* Previous experience of working within an EHS position
* Experience of working within the Pharmaceutical industry
