Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Firmware / Software Design Verification Engineer who wants to contribute to our expanding and world leading R&D team. Working with FW development projects and PC based SW development tools, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of software testing strategies, a crucial activity in the agile development process for products that ship in multimillion volumes. You will also lead the development of advanced methods for code analysis and verification. Working in close cooperation with various specialist teams, you will influence the working methodology and follow the complete design cycle from product concept to volume production.Qualifications
o M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar, or B.Sc. with relevant experience
o Experience in some, or all, of these areas:
- Microcontroller systems
- Software design
- Development and verification of embedded systems in C
- Real-time systems
- RF-applications and wireless protocols
- Python programming
- Continuous integration development
o Proven track record in creating verification systems for test generation, systematic verification plans and coverage
monitoring
o Well-developed analytical skills required for specification and architecture analysis to identify test scenarios needed to
achieve functional and performance goals
o Good English communication skills (Norwegian is not required)
Responsibilities
o Managing FW/SW verification throughout the project/product development cycle
o Development of test infrastructure and verification plans for individual projects and technology platforms
o Specification review to ensure testable requirements
o Test development and implementation
o Improving FW/SW verification methodology; pre-silicon and post silicon
o Liaison with system integration teams and FW developers
o Developing and maintaining build and test frameworks for continuous integration
o Timely and high quality execution in accordance with the development roadmap
o Assisting with post-silicon debugging
o Contribute to interoperability sessions with other system vendors
o Participation in industry working groups to advance wireless technologies and promote new applications
