Sales Manager- Services/Storage- SouthWest/West Midlands- £150K OTEI'm working on behalf of a business with 30 years of industry experience across data storage solutions, recruiting for a sales manager to join their growing and successful team.
With offices in both theUnited Statesand theUKmy clients are rapidly becoming a global player in data storage solutions. They are looking for a sales manager with a wide experience of service sales preferably in the data storage industry as the company are trying to move away from a product focused strategy.
Covering the South andMidlandsTerritoryyou will be familiar with the storage industry and marketplace.
With a focus on services and increasing sales in this area you should have the following experience to be considered:-
Managing budgets of circa £15m+
Forecasting, budgeting and reporting to senior management including MD and stakeholders
Leading sales teams of 30+
Working with internal and external sales teams
Must have experience gained working for an IT reseller or services provider
Ability to deliver against strategies and plan long term
Have partnership and vendor knowledge of VMware and IBM amongst others
Implementation of sales plans
Motivational techniques to achieve performance from the sales team
