Description
Responsibilities- Deploys full delivery cycle including support of contact and message aggregation services, both client and server, both UI and Middleware supporting first party HTML 5 applications and exposure of messages, notifications, contacts, mashup and provisioning APIs to third parties.
- The deployment services role is two-fold with major responsibilities spanning deployment and technical support domains.
- With respect to deployment, the role is responsible for pushing runtime versions, executables, binaries, property components, environment variables, etc. as required to development, various test, FFA and production environments.
- Chairs the pre-deployment planning scrum and uses tracking tool to orchestrate messages and API deployments.
- From a support domain perspective, the role is responsible for tier 4 (software) on-call rotations, compliance with Operations policy & procedures, ticket creation & submissions and reviews with Operations.
- The role is also engaged in outage scenarios to participate in problem triaging and root cause analysis.
Must have expertise in Weblogic, Java Scripting/Scripting Languages, HTTP Protocol, Jenkins SCM, Hudson SCM, and Subversion SCM. Knowledge of Nagios required. Desired skills/knowledge: Python, RESTful API Support, and Continuous Integration SME
