Responsibilities- Develops and validates ligand binding assays for regulated study support.
- Conducts sample testing in support of regulated studies.
- Maintains a GLP/GCLP compliant laboratory.
- Performs routine equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Attains proficiency in routine sample testing, equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Attains proficiency in ligand binding assay method development.
- Independently plans and executes experiments needed to move project forward.
- Over time, functions as a Bioanalytical principal investigator or lead scientist on a regulated study.
- Performs routine sample analysis using immunoassay techniques.
- Provides oversight of instrument installation and organization of a new laboratory space.
- Supports methods run on the instruments and participates in the maintenance of the instruments.
Bachelor's degree required. Candidates should have 2 to 4 years experience with LBA (ELISA, ECLA, LC-MS for large molecules) and routine sample analysis. Candidates must have: ELISA experience and/or regulated experience (GLP, GCP, or GMP). Must have 1-3 years of experience with Bioanalysis, Immunoassays (RIA, ELISA), Liquid Handling Robotics, Quantative Bioanalysis, Reading Plates, and Sample Analysis. Prior experience with regulated (GLP and/or GCLP) studies is desirable.
