RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and refine the growth strategy for store brands.
  • Independently design and conduct complex analysis (eg addressing multiple, interconnected issues or elements) using up-to-date information (customer, competitor, economics, etc.); including the articulation of conclusions and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Engage cross-functionally across the organization to drive results and resolve issues encountered by the team, including the ability to assess and course-correct as necessary.
  • Prepare material and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise.
SKILLS

Required skills: Excel modelling skills; Experience writing and auditing the Vlookups and Hlookup functions; Experience writing and auditing conditional functions such as If, Countif, Countifs, Sumif, Sum ifs, etc.; Experience constructing and auditing Pivot tables; Experience with the linear programming and iterative calculation functions and add ins such as Solver, What-If Tables, and Goal Seek; Experience with the Data Analysis tool pack add-in, especially the Regression tool; PowerPoint skills; Experience creating tables and graphs in native PowerPoint and ThinkCell; Database skills; Familiarity with the use or relational databases; Ability to write and run basic SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE queries in Access; Ability to write and run basic SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE queries in SQL; Analytical skills; Familiarity with and experience calculating basic descriptive statistics such as mean, median, variance, standard deviation, and correlation; Experience constructing and running basic hypothesis tests such as T-tests and P-test; Experience constructing and running single and multi variate linear regressions and interpreting the results of those regressions. Preferred skills: Excel Skills; Ability to write Excel macros in VBA; Ability to implement conditional formatting; Ability to implement controls using the Development tab; Database skills; Ability to construct and maintain relational databases in Access and SQL; Ability to construct and run complex queries in Access and SQL.
