Description
Responsibilities- Acting as a key person for the transfer of new products from Research and Development or acquired products from outside the company. This involves scale-up, troubleshooting, writing of new documentation and SOP's, and performing testing procedures
- Interpret data and make decisions under the guidance of the supervisor on how to proceed
- Learn how to operate any new equipment.
- Assist with technical issues and problems on all products produced in the department.
- Running studies and/or experiments for the Manufacturing Technical Services group when investigating manufacturing issues
- Assist in Product and Process Improvement Projects.
Must have a B.S. degree in a biological science or equivalent.
Technical knowledge and skills required: ELISA Based Immunoassays, Protein Chemistry, Protein purifications, Protein conjugations, Buffers.
Familiarity with Membrane Based Lateral Flow Assays a plus but not required.
Computer skills desired: MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
