INTERMEDIATE TELEPHONY ANALYST

This position reports to the EUS Operations manager in Colorado and will be located in Denver, CO. The Telephony Intermediate will be responsible for providing IT infrastructure implementation and coordination for projects in the Colorado Region. In addition, will manage day-to-day operations including PBX, Voice Messaging, Call Processing, ACD, and other telephony related applications at assigned facilities. 

Job Responsibilities 
Provide support in planning, design, and implementation of telecommunications services and systems applicable to major Regional initiatives and projects through collaboration and understanding of business goals and objectives. 

Coordinate the design, development and implementation of telecommunications services and systems. Ensure activities meet or exceed the business requirements while maintaining or improving upon standards for customer satisfaction, technical excellence (reliability, performance, capacity) and cost effectiveness. 

Work closely with other National Operations organizations and Business Area Partners to insure smooth delivery of National services to the customer. Manage the activities of a variety of outside vendors and internal staff as required to achieve results. 

Coordinate and prioritize service requests and projects for assigned facilities for voice and data Move-Add-Change activity. 

Provide recommendations to Manager for improving existing systems and identify potential network and telephony issues for escalation and resolution. 

This position requires intense organization, negotiation, and customer consultation skills to manage multiple simultaneous projects effecting critical services to the Business Partner. 

As an Intermediate Analyst, the position must use content knowledge blended with persuasion to actively sell ideas, perspectives, and services to Business Partners. 

The position also requires responsiveness to facilitate the installation of new services, coordinate planned and unplanned outages, establish plans for recovery of services and maintain service levels. 

The position will require adherence to sound business practices and standards and the coordination of vendors and contractors on projects to assure completion to specification within budget and according to schedule. 

The scope of support responsibilities might require travel to visit various facilities to meet with Business Partners or vendors. Must have the ability to operate with minimal supervision and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers. 

Qualifications 

Preferred -
Extensive experience delivering IT infrastructure solutions to support KPNS VOIP projects. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal relations skills. Ability to train both technical and non-technical users. Capacity planning and service monitoring for multiple, large scale facilities. Five years or more working directly with large and diverse customer base in direct support of IT infrastructure requirements and service requests. BA/BS preferred but not required-can be substituted by experience. 

Required -
Thorough knowledge of Avaya PBX system principles of operations, configuration and implementation, including CMS, ACD and Call Processing solutions. Certification on Avaya PBX and knowledge of vectoring and call routing design required. CISCO VOIP experience will be a plus. 
Strong oral and written communication skills Must be capable of utilizing MS Project, MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel.
