Description
A 2 - 3 month contract opportunity exists for a UML Developer to join this large scale Government Organisation based in inner CBD.
The UML Developer will be required to provide UML transform developer skills to the Organisations large scale ICT Project of Work.
- Work as part of an application project team which is responsible for the development of components developed with the UML transform;
- Provide UML Transform applications development and maintenance skills for internal projects undertaking analysis, design, construction, and system testing tasks;
- Keep abreast of internal development standards, ensuring that standards are adhered to in all work undertaken;
- Provide advice and assistance to Project Managers on technical issues affecting the project;
- Provide timesheets and task feedback to Project Manager weekly, using the standard Information Technology Branch timesheet software;
- Consult with system analysts to determine business and user requirements;
- Develop and document specifications for application code;
- Facilitate and/or participate in design sessions and other workshops;
- Provide technical UML transform skills transfer to staff, including documentation of decisions made and the approach taken;
- Participate in quality reviews of deliverables as required;
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of progress as directed;
To be successful for this role you will require the following key experience and skills;
Technologies:
- UML model to model transforms;
- UML model to text transforms;
- JET and XPath based transformations;
- IBM RSA IDE;
- BIRT for report designs;
- Windows NT, XP and 7.
