Seeking a Web Content Writer with proven E-commerce experience who can translate business partners' goals into warm, meaningful, engaging conversations with customers on the company's web site.Responsibilities
- Writes and edits customer-focused copy that meets the company's brand voice and style guidelines. In our creative and rapidly changing environment, this writer must be proactive, generate ideas, juggle multiple projects/assignments, pay close attention to detail, and meet short turnarounds and deadlines.
- Analyzes and works from a creative brief, marketing brief, or business requirements.
- Collaborates with information architects, designers, vendors, and other writers to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and build a messaging strategy for any given project.
- Uses excellent communication skills to provide solid rationale for content choices and win business partners over.
Required: Expertise in Web writing (not technical writing) for a consumer audience; copy editing experience; strong creative ability; strong written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to write and edit copy in a prescribed brand voice.
Desired: Creative Agency experience; experience as a Business/Requirements Analyst for Web; Content Strategy experience; Web producer and/or project management experience; Web content management experience; previous telecommunication E-commerce experience; and sales and merchandising web content experience
