Real Staffing are helping an NHS organisation on the South Coast find a Senior Management Accountant who can support an under-staffed area of the finance department over the coming months.
This is the perfect opportunity for an NHS Management Accountant who has experience of interacting with non-finance staff and managing a small team.
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager
- Monthly forecasting
- Providing monthly reporting packs
- Advising budget holders and senior staff
- Monitoring CIP progress and identifying new saving schemes
- Reviewing budgets and providing variance analysis
- Supervision of junior accountants and reviewing work
- Covering multiple budgets and service areas
Essential skills and experience:
- Recent NHS experience
- Management Accountant or Finance Manager
- Supervising and managing staff
- Good systems and communication skills
- Operated at band 7 level
Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant. Candidate must be available to interview and start work ASAP.
