SAP BPC (Business Planning Consolidation) Lead Consultant

CRITICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS), Management NSS (MIS), Physical Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • SAP BPC certification is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical requirements

Candidates should have ideally worked on the following:

  • BPC Migration Tool UJT_MIGRATE_75_TO_10 to run
  • Strong knowledge of Configuring BPC  Data Manager
  • Upgrade on the Back End 7.5 Application sets to 10.0 environments
  • Worked extensively in BPC Consolidation at multiple sites incl.  
  • Financial Statement Application, mapping data & process into KPIs
  • Worked on BPC starter kit for IFRS configuring SAP Business Objects
  • Financial Consolidation based on the Legal Business requirements
  • Performing validation and publishing Statutory Consolidation
  • Upgraded BI/BPC Data models, business process & Reports/Input schedules
  • Expertise in BPC/BI involving development of Application Sets, Applications,
  • Dimensions, maintenance, reporting, Statuses, BPFs and information security
  • Worked on customizing BPC CapEx starter kit configuring SAP Business Objects
  • Planning & Consolidation based on Depreciation/Amortization & Initiatives/Requests
  • Designed and Developed several Info cubes, ODS as well as Configuration
  • Info objects, extractors & Business Content) while Tuning/Sizing BI Servers
  • Worked as a member of large Global ECC rollout teams & delivered hands-on training
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multi-dimensional data warehouse and OLAP
  • Must have Configured BPC Data Manager in loading/troubleshooting data into the Applications
  • Should have expertise in BPC data consolidation, datasources and worked on FICO, BI/BO modules.
  • ABAP knowledge is highly desired to work with BAPI's for enhancing datasources and creating generic function modules
  • Demonstrated success in partnering with business in solution development, setting priorities, managing expectations of internal clients, and creating required documentation of requirements.
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills, including experience with documentation and redesign.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in layman's terms, both verbally and in writing.

YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

Minimum 7 years of experience working with SAP BPC 7 and its reporting tools and well as support experience in SAP BI and FI/CO Minimum 5 years of experience working in a finance-related role, preferably using SAP Financial modules.
