Embedded Software Engineer (Three Openings - Melbourne)
Hourly pay rate $50.00/hr
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Software engineer responsible for definition, development and integration of Embedded software application for use in train communication and control systems.
Will design, implement and test software, ensuring quality specifications are met.
Will participate actively in design and code reviews.
Will use configuration management tools to control software and changes to software.
- Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- BSEE or BSCS required.
- 5 + years experience in Embedded software development using C/C++ programming language is required.
- Experience with GreenHills or other equivalent cross-compiler.
- Experience with MicroC/OS-II or other equivalent RTOS.
- Experience with developing Safety critical application using DO-178B or Cenelec
- Experience with version control system such as StarTeam required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have good verbal and written communications skills.
candidates MUST have safety critical experience along with Embedded, microC and Greenhills or comparable cross-compiler
