Job Description
Ftopia builds software for helping businesses and individuals to share, store and manage their information in the cloud (AWS and Openstack). We’re looking for some talented Ruby developers to join our team!

Why joining us
Be a game changer. Our team is bright and small, you will have a real impact on what we deliver, and on how we deliver it.

Play with new technologies. Experiment with cutting edge infrastructure components, development frameworks, continuous integration, etc.

Help define how we work as a team. Be part of a team that defines their own standards and processes, within an Agile environment.

Do something that counts. Work on solutions that get deployed to thousands of companies and millions of people.

Code in Paris, work with the world. We're located in the heart of Paris, with users all around the world, remote contributors in Europe, Brazil and USA, investors from the US, France and Israel, and a sister company, SocialFolders, located in San Francisco. Relocation is a possibility - priority to EU citizens.

Skills & Requirements

Test driven. You do think that TDD makes things better, rather than slowing things down.

Technical skills. A significant experience of Ruby on Rails web apps in both build and run modes. We use Rails 4, Angular and Foundation on the front-end, plus the usual suspects, SQL and NoSQL db, http APIs, message queue processing, etc.

Willingness to learn and share. Inside the team, with code reviews and sharing best practices. Outside, through open sourcing some of our work and presenting at tech confs.

About ftopia
Ftopia was founded in 2009 to empower every business user to share files easily and securely. Since then the same team has also released SocialFolders, the easiest way to manage photos, sounds and documents on every social network. Our engineering team is based in the beautiful city of Paris, France.

We operate our own platform, while providing our services to large cloud providers for their own customers.
