Location:West MidlandsJob Role: Safety Consultant
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Negotiable depending on experience
Functional Safety Consultant needed to take a principal role in functional safety activities within a reputable company based in theWest Midlands. Day to day duties will involve managing active projects to deliver on time to cost and to a high standard. You will be focussed on a variety of projects within the defence and automotive sectors.
Ideally you will have the following experience:-
- Degree in electrical/electronics/systems engineering or a relevant related discipline
- 5 Years in an embedded systems environment
- Safety related systems
- Systems engineer or software archiecture
- Off highway or earth moving safety-related standards
- Machinery safety-related standards
- Embedded hardware design
- FMEA/FTA/HAZOP
- User and systems level requirements capture, management and technical review
- Systems level architectural design and technical review
Desirables include:-
- Safety related systems standards eg IEC 61508/MISRA SA and ISO26262
- Cmmi, ISO 15504 (SPICE)
- Architectural design of embedded software
