Graphic Web Designer or UX Web Designer Roles & Responsibilities
- Offer creative solutions for optimizing current site templates and with direction from my Clients online service.
- Provide creative feedback on imagery including product assets and banners.
- Process assets (scan, crop, resize, reformat, color-correct, or otherwise manipulate) as needed under the direction of UX Project Manager or Art Director.
- Leverage marketing campaign creative to produce custom artwork.
- Ensure designs meet style guide and other visual guidance requirements.
- Take ownership of projects, working with content, merchandising, category and design teams to complete work requests.
Experience Required
- 3 plus years relevant web design or UX experience.
- At least one year of E-commerce experience is essential.
- A natural flair for design going beyond the ability to just layout all the required elements on a page.
- Strong Adobe CS skills.
- 5 plus years of experience with proven ability to lead and direct design styles and efforts.
- Must be highly proficient with interactive web technologies, software or web applications, and print and branding.
- Fluency with standard and dynamic design software packages (Photoshop, Flash, etc) required.
- Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of typography is preferred.
- Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player.
- Demonstrated experience with project planning and excellent project management skills required.
- Portfolio review required. Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area required.
