Description
I am looking for an experienced Business Risk Manager to join a top investment bank within London. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business.
Responsibilities
Implement the 1st line of defence, following the methodology and strategy set by the Regional Lead. This will involve monitoring key controls on a cyclical basis and reporting the findings.
Facilitating Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs) which identify the key risks, their impact and the relevant controls.
Escalate operational risk incidents to the Regional Lead, where appropriate, to enable knowledge sharing across regions.
Assist with the effective closure of management self-identified issues (MSIIs) and 2nd & 3rd line findings as they relate to the Risk function.
To implement effective risk and control monitoring programmes based on areas of key risks
Provide leadership to ensure all control deficiencies (eg MSII and Audit findings) are adequately closed within agreed timeframes.
Experience Requirements:
An extensive amount of control monitoring experience
Ability to influence Senior Leaders
Experience of Matrix management across complex environments
Ability to drive Operational Risk within the 1st of defence and obtain appropriate management buy in
Gravitas to face off to CROs.
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working within a finance setting.
Contract Role- £200-£300
