An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Procurement Commodity Specialist to join a global financial organisation to work closely with their Global Commodity Manager to develop and drive the long term commercial strategy of a specific commodity to enable the organisation to increase its savings delivery.
The successful candidate must have experience of purchasing software (licences and services) with a good all-round knowledge of IT hardware, software and services. They will be Responsible for assisting in the delivery of a specific commodity strategy and ensuring seamless supply of goods and services to the organization and must be able to engage and influence a senior level to support Commodity Strategies
.
The Specialist will have a strong understanding of software licenses and must be able to undertake RFPs and research the market place. They should have experience managing projects and should have a demonstrable background performing a similar position where they have achieved annual savings through strategic procurement.
