SOFTWARE SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN - ELECTRONIC WARFARE - NATO - Somerset.
Euros per day - 6 - 48 month rolling contract.
NATO requires a Software Systems Technician for its EW operations at RNAS in Yeovilton, Somerset, Must have a Minimum SC clearance level.
The Mission of NATO's joint electronic warfare core staff {JEWCS} is to provide NATO nations and institutions with EW expertise, support and training at the tactical, operational and strategic levels.
Principal Duties:
To act as the NATO technical expert for the control of MMI software, identify software solutions, modify the MMI to meet user needs and modify control software to account for equipment changes.
You will work in liaison with contractors and potential contractors to improve systems knowledge, have a close working relationship with workshop supervisors providing them with technical advice and complying with all JEWCS configuration, change and quality management procedure and systems when undertaking depth activities.
Qualifications:
At least3 years recent experience of maintaining electronic systems software control and MMI.
HNC/HND or equivalent,RF Principles-Electromagnetic propagation,antennas and devices.
