Our client is searching for a talented Senior Engineer to develop new applications for their stable technology firm. This remote resource will work on a team that utilizes open source technologies for high traffic web applications.

This job is for Ruby on Rails advocates that are dedicated to using open source technology. You may also have the opportunity to work with technologies such as Sinatra, Capistrano, CoffeeScript and Scala. If you are looking to surround yourself with talented developers with an eagerness to exploit new solutions in a fast moving environment, this is the job for you.

Requirements:
  • Ruby development in an enterprise environment utilizing a Ruby on Rails framework
  • Prior enterprise experience programming in a web language such as PHP, Java, ASP or ColdFusion
  • MySQL
  • JavaScript, CSS, AJAX

  • Sinatra, Capistrano, CoffeeScript, Scala, Lisp, Clojure, F#, Functional Languages, Riak, MongoDB
