My exclusive client, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Sligo, are urgently seeking a Quality Assurance Lead or QA Manager on a 6 month daily rate contract.The successful candidate will be required to assist the current QP on site in dealing with the general day to day QA Duties in particular dealing with IMB CAPA's, working
with new FMD Directives and the analysis of current ISO Standards. Candidate must have very strong Quality Background with an emphasis on Operational Quality.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the quality systems within the Value Stream ensuring compliance with the QMS, site procedures, and GMP.
- Ensure all batches are manufactured, tested and checked in accordance with GMP regulations and registered details.
- To be able to identify multiple options when faced with an issue and to identify risks and potential mitigations.
- To be able to present possible solutions rather than issues to the Value Stream Leader.
- Supporting an environment within the Value Stream of open, honest two way communication.
- Ensuring each batch has been manufactured, tested and checked in accordance with approved specifications and procedures.
- Lead quality compliance within the value stream.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience within a Pharmaceutical / Medical Device / GMP environment.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and application in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to identify and evaluate current and emerging technologies, best practices and assess their applicability to address the organisation's needs.
- QP Qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Proven track record of leading teams/groups in the effective delivery of key targets.
- People management skills.
- Design and engage in solutions and improvements.
- Knowledge and understanding of operation of value streams
