Role description: Network engineer - (Radio optim & design - air interface 2G&3G)
Summary
Our client is looking to a technical design expert with very good knowledge of simulation tool Asset, analyses tool Actix, parameters of Huawei 3G on radio optim level. And very good knowledge of radio antennas and configurations.
Purpose
The main purpose of the role is to be part of the Service Delivery, by representing Networking and Technology Consulting mainly in the delivery of standardized services within Network Roll-out and Managed Services using established methods processes and tools.
Responsibilities
The main responsibility is to ensure that all solution deliveries to customers are made in a professional manner, achieving customer satisfaction and securing profitability for Ericsson.
Especially: delivery of the new sites via the integration process in time.
Depending on the applicable functional skill, the responsibilities are:
- Participation in customer projects (specific optimisation projects - special coverage)
- Collection and analysis of customer requirements
- Perform Network Optimization at cellular level in order to contribute to regional quality of service by
- Investigation network performance, complicated QOS problems (based on analysis of drive tests results, clients complaints, performance indicator, )
- issuing, discussing and/or implementing optimization recommendations (optimization of cell parameters and aerials, ) for network improvement
- Following up & reporting of new 3G Site integration between I&C & FN8c phases (site ready for commercial use)
- Coordination between I&C, drive test team and the team who releases the integration documents (site acceptance)
- verification of some documents and comments on some analyses to do
- Clear feedback to give to customer Mobistar in case of questions about integrated sites OR Interface with Mobistar and Integration team to discuss about Site Integration issues
- Daily contact with the integration team during rush period to discuss corrective actions/recommendations.
- Issuing, discussing and/or implementing optimization recommendations (optimization of cell parameters and aerials, ) for network improvement

Good knowledge of
- Asset,
- MapInfo,
- Actix (Drive test measurement post-processing),
- M2000:( ( Alarm, Site Performance Monitoring, Launch commands)
- Huawei & PRS counters.
- Access (FN status in database) - Excel
- Clear view needed on the construction of aerials (MHA, RET ) and node B Huawei.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft tools like Powerpoint, Excel, Acces..
