Description
Senior Support Analyst required for an initial 6 month contract with an esteemed government department based in Sydney.
You will:
- Provide Level 2 BAU support services for enterprise scale systems.
- Triage incidents referred by the help desk and assign or resolve incidents.
- Co-ordination of incident and problem requests with a focus on maximising service availability and continuous improvement.
- Provide advice at a detailed level for both technical implementation and business process improvement
- Analyse and document system errors and problems to enable remediation or improvement of the applications and services.
Skills required:
- Extensive experience in a user support role for enterprise scale information systems
- Experience in using an incident management system, preferably Remedy
- Demonstrated experience in managing and resolving incidents reported by users
- Sound understanding of software development
- Ability to report incident management progress to management
- High level communication skills
