SQL Server BI Developer Mining Contract Australia - Melbourne - ContractMy client is looking for a SQL Server Developer to be based in Melbourne Australia for a 6 month contract with a view to extend
The ideal candidate should have Mining or Oil and Gas experience with SQL Server
Should be complete Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server 2012- SSIS and SSAS.
Should know how to code custom SSIS transformations in C# and other custom components(Process dimensions and Measures in cube), custom SSIS Lookup component.
Should have working experience with TFS and agile processes.
Should be expert at writing Stored procedures using Merge statements
Should be able to write MDX scripts and Oracle queries which are used to run automated test scripts using ReSharper Tool for data reconciliations between DWH and source.
SSRS knowledge would be a plus along with mining domain.
Excellent understanding of data models and experience with both relational and dimensional data models.
Excellent understanding of SSIS/SSAS and hands-on experience working with data in OLAP cubes, specifically SSAS
Comfortable with hand-writing SQL and MDX queries, calculated measures.
Demonstrated ability to learn, analyse and understand business processes, measures and KPIs
At least 2 medium- or 1 large-scale real world Microsoft BI Solution completed
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
