As a result of some major client wins and growth, my client is looking to expand their team considerably.
Specific to Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 and 2012, they are seeking an applicant that has:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong background in SQL database administration/development
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Experience in performance tuning and optimisation, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
- Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
- Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
- Good communication and documentation skills
