I am currently recruiting for a leading global Oil and Gas operator who is offering excellent career opportunities for Streamlining specialists and Management Systems Advisers. The position of Streamlining Adviser offers a fantastic opportunity for career development on a contract basis, with a major operator in Aberdeen on a very competitive rate.
The successful candidate will be working within the a major Management System project to ensure, through active engagement and support, the ongoing improvement and implementation of the business management system to ensure it becomes and remains a robust and effective tool in directing and demonstrating how the business is managed by following the management process.
Experience in Management Systems Advisory roles and possessing technical knowledge in relation to operations or quality management is desired. It would be beneficial (not essential) for candidates to have experience of oil and gas operations and production processes.
Main Activities:
*Provide expert advice to line management and their teams regarding management system structure and content.
*Take a pro-active role in the improvement of the business management system.
*Ensure that Assurance Standard development is aligned with relevant company policies, business strategies and known key risks.
*Consult with, coach and provide appropriate support to fellow team members as required.
*Lead discrete improvement projects through to successful closeout.
*Facilitate Management Review Meetings and support action recipients in ensuring robust and timely action closure.
*Assist in the development of Streamlined Management System Processes and Procedures.
*Identify opportunities and prepare business cases for improvement.
Requirements:
*Demonstration of detailed knowledge of integrated business management systems, operations and associated processes, preferably in an upstream Oil and Gas Operator context.
*Degree qualified in Engineering or Business Management subject.
*Operations Management or Quality Management experience.
*Preferred qualification in management system auditing.
*Extensive 'hands on' knowledge of working in brown field upstream operations.
*Strong communication and presentation skills.
*Highly knowledgeable and experienced in development and implementation of integrated business management systems.
*Strong analytical skills with experience in business process analysis.
*Respectful of confidentiality with strong teamwork skills.
