Project Planner - Primavera - Glasgow
We are looking for a contract P6 project planner that has excellent skills using Primavera (P6). The role is based in Glasgow. You should have a track record in Project Planning with recent commercial experience of working with Primavera (P6).
You will be working with an international team of P6 planners and will be required to produce and monitor project plans using Primavera.
Skills Required:
- 2-3 years plus experience of Project Planning using to Primavera
- Up to date commercial experience of working with Primavera
- Engineering background preferably
Key areas:
- Production and maintenance of project plans using Primavera in line with company standards and the project structure
- Regular progress reporting
- Assist in the analysis of costing reports
- Ensure plans are realistic and consistent with estimates of costs to complete
- Monitor programme continually against performance
- Incorporate programme variations
- Programme report to client/management
- Anticipate problem areas regarding critical paths and advise remedial action.
- Take a proactive role in managing client interfaces, and interfaces with other planners
