MECHANICAL ENGINEER-SOUTHAMPTON-SPECIAL PURPOSE MACHINERY/ROTATING MACHINERYI am working on behalf of my Southampton based client who have an urgent requirement for a Mechanical Engineer to contribute towards a general influx of work and projects over the coming months. You will be working with Mechanical components including stress & thermal calculation & analysis of static & high speed rotating machinery.
Are you available?SKILL-SET REQUIRED
- Mechanical engineering background
- Mechanical design skills to define and analyse complex mechanical assemblies- Solidworks experience ideal- FEA & hand calculations.
- Good understanding of the various manufacturing processes- Proven ability working with suppliers to select best processes material properties
- Knowledge and appropriate application of tolerances
Contract Duration: 6months +
Rate: Market
Location: Southampton
Interviews will be taking place w/c 8th July for an immediate start
