Description
For a major banking client in Belgium we require a WebSphere Application Server Systems Engineer to ensure the availability, maintenance and support of a large Java EE application hosting service infrastructure.
Candidates must have hands on technical experience of installation and support of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and also experience of load balancing, reverse proxies and authentication.
Tasks will include:
Support of the complete WAS environment
Deployment and installation of WebSphere applications
Completion of pre-defined tasks for the applications (Stop/Start, Packages installation etc)
Resolve service requests, incidents, problems, changes and configuration management
Support tasks associated with running the operation and maintenance of the information systems
Candidates will need advanced knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, including clustering for high-availability and performance, administrative Scripting, troubleshooting, and Java EE development best practices.
Candidates must speak English fluently as well as French or Dutch.
